When you get ice cream, and ask them to jam mini scoops of a bunch of different flavors in the same cup because every part wants different ones. (I used to work at an ice cream shop in high school, so it was easier to do that then because I didn't get looks of confusion or limits on the number of flavors!)

When you consider a babysitting job based on experience with your own littles. (I don't need to have looked over an 8 year old, we were one just last week!)

When your host is nervous about making a call, so you call in as him.

... when you pass a mirror in a clothes shop and really get scared of the "strange old body" that is being reflected. You run home and while changing clothes dare to check if this was a hallucination - and begin to cry because it was not. Then immediately write an e-mail at your T, complaining how aweful it is to have a "wrong body". Happened to me yesterday.

This is my first posting in this forum. I came across due to a google search a few days ago and got stuck. I apologize for my poor English - I am no native speaker. Hello to everyone out there!

No need to apologize; your english is really good! I wouldn't have known that it wasn't your native language if you hadn't said so.

When you can read a book or play a video game or watch a show, etc, many many times and have it seem new each time.

When you keep switching between many different books/games/tv series rather than just going through one and then moving to another. (I think there's 3 or 4 books I'm reading and the same number of video games I need to finish).

When you have multiple video-game save files for the same game because you are at different parts of it at the same time.

Thank you so much for your compliment - I always feel so insecure about that.

When you start laughing in the middle of a doctor's appointment because someone thought it was a good time to tell a joke.

When people can't understand why you're "thinking of nothing." I'm not the one thinking!

When someone in your system takes a psychoactive substance and doesn't tell you until you're at that important meeting with your social worker and it suddenly kicks in...

When you start hearing things and feel like you are high. An alter goes yep I'm out for a few hours.
And immediately you feel better once the other is out and you get to calm down.
