made me think of the time I had to talk myself into taking it slow, eating and drinking something (I was very exhausted and hadn't been eating), sitting down and just going home, repeatedly telling myself that "It's okay". I didn't know about DID back then. But it makes sense now xD

I get so confused with how to answer those...

... when somebody else asks your mother to order a pizza, she says no, he persuades her to order it after 10 minutes of arguing... and 15 minutes later, you ask your mother what will you eat for dinner... and she yells "We have just told about it!" And you lie and tell her "Oh, yes... I remember".

This happens way too often, and now she just keeps staring at me when I "don't remember" something. Since she's now paranoid about me drinking alcohol, she probably thinks that I'm drunk, or high, or something...

When the only way you can think of a proposal to be phrased is "Will you marry us?"

When you're quietly dozing off, listening to someone having an in-depth conversation with one of your friends, and you realize you're the one talking.

When people preach about how important mental health is but when DID is mentioned they shut off or say 'you mean multiple personality disorder ' :| :| :|

And then you reply, 'No you dense nitwits, dissociative identity disorder, you ninnies.' use whatever name calling you wish to get the point across.

... when you find a dentist's card in your pocket, with the next appointment date written in it, and you think "OH NO I forgot to put it in a visible place!". Imagine what would happen the day of the appointment if who was in control didn't remember/know that he had to go to the dentist...
... when your usage of color post-its is different of the common people's. Each color = an alter. I don't really know why we do this, because for example if Christine sees a post-it of Chris saying "Must do this", she will do it. But if she finds a post-it of Judit, she will break it because she doesn't like her
I'm laughing, but this is pretty sad... 8)

When trying to fill in a form to get benefits/social security and there is a section on communication with the following questions and what I want to reply:
1) Can you communicate a simple message to other people such as the presence of something dangerous Within our system or to the outside world? I can... but some parts won't...you'll find out there is danger when we shut down or start really panicking. Define dangerous , some parts jump each time something falls on the floor, a door slams etc because that is the presence of danger to them

2) Please tick this box if you can understand people without any difficulty well my hearing is fine but no I don't understand people sometimes, especially when Adeline only speaks French, Natasha has her own language and long words in the adult language are used around kids who only understand 'basic' English

3) Can you understand simple messages from other people by hearing or lip reading without the help of another person? A simple message means things like the location of a fire escape Well the kids need help from an older part. Tell us where a fire exit is and we'll understand, but 5 mins later when someone else takes over we won't have a clue where it is :?

And that's only a few of the questions, we're going to have to get a lot of help completing this one!

When you preview this post you are about to submit, feel sorry for the person and want to reply

you can read/watch the same book/tv/series over and over again and you will always find new parts in it you never read/seen before due to blackouts. :)
