I'm so glad to see this topic stay active It's so important to keep our moods up when dealing with all of this

When you're listening to the teacher outside and the others inside and then you realize you mixed up what someone inside said, with what the teacher said, but no one inside was paying enough attention to the teacher to tell you what he actually said. All you know is what one of the others said, and you can't aske the people in class whatt he said for fear of sounding crazy.

When you start blending with a "foreign" alter and start speaking in a non-native accent or even language..

when you're never sure how old you are.

when you check time every 5 minutes if you're fast enough to do it every 5 minutes.

when you never feel alone.

When you're laying in your room and start hearing the others like your on the cusp of a dream but you know your not because you can still hear virtually everything that goes on outside your room. :o)

When someone says something like "obviously, you're not a girl because..." and you say something like "well, you never know..."

When nicknames are really hard to think up. Everyone has to agree, after all. (This was also long before I discovered the dissociation, but I think this was the reason).

...When you've lost jobs cause you were too embarrassed to go back to it, cause your littles were looking for mommy-figures in co-workers..Who didn't exactly appreciate that, which the littles didn't notice..

You know you have DID when all the men, and the littles are taught to change a tampon for the Host's periods.

You know you have DID when random men and woman call you back saying that had fun and you dont know what Alter was out and flirted around.

when you forget your age and wonder who is that ladys face looking at you in the mirror
