Fun: You know you're DID when..

when you think you can do two different things at the same time and then you realize you only have 1 body for doing 1 thing at a time. doh!

when you wonder how come your arm looks like a old lady. and then you realize it is not some other old lady. it is because you are an old lady already. and that old lady arm is your arm.

This has been happening to me as well. With my hands though.

When every time you pick up one particular video game, your file is gone and an alter has made his own in its place. And it repeats several times until you just decide to give the game to him... which he then proceeds to not play because he isn't out often.

2. Exploring Headspace and bringing back a dragon-man with you? Dang! that sounds like fun.

When you can't find your glasses and have to put your contacts in to look for them because one of littles took them off and threw them somewhere because "she" doesn't need them. Or worse you search everywhere for them with one of your littles giggling uncontrollably the whole time. Then you walk by a mirror and they are on top or your head, where "she" put them...


When you have a "T" appointment at 2:00, one minute you're getting ready and the next he's saying, "That was an awesome session, see you next week and it's 3:00!" You just have to sit there for a minute because you're in shock, wondering who changed your clothes, drove you there, took up all of your "T" time and hoping it was an older alter instead of a little and that your car is still in tact. And your "T" is cracking up the whole time because he already knows the answers to everything you're questioning...

When you wanna not exploit with an awkward outing because we always are writing, journaling, and in therapy talking when someone says follow your first mind! It is triggering for a few reasons!

When you move into supported accommodation and the staff think you're lazy because some days you cook, clean, go to the shops on your own and other days you say you need support to do those things.
