*Comments about the DDNOS/DID RESOURCES thread*

It would be good if there was a thread like this that could stay at the top somewhere. Would save some time for new people and save extra posting perhaps? Is this possible?

I do agree this thread would probably be more helpful if it stayed at the top, and I shall ask our moderator about the options concerning this. I did not wish to ask originally because I did not want to seem arrogant or anything like that. Thank you for your compliment and the suggestion, I will certainly see what I can do about keeping this thread "up top".

Yeh, apologise for the 'others' replying, I couldn't help it they got excited.
Afterwards I thought I might be able to delete my comments, but didnt see that I could, perhaps a mod can clean it up if they've got time.

I put a link in the first post of our existing "Resources" sticky at the top of the forum dissociative-identity/topic22350.html#p131282 to the thread that Rain (and others?) created. I don't generally tend to sticky threads unless they are absolutely essential reading as it is so easy for the top of the forum to get clogged up really quickly otherwise and be really overwhelming to new members... I have to revise our main Resources thread at some stage so it is brief, more current and less messy- it's on my to do list but it takes so much time to read through everything and decide what's absolutely essential, validating and not going to be overwhelming to new members so I haven't quite had the energy just yet.
It is really awesome that Rain (and others) have done an amazing job compiling stuff and that this thread can be linked to in the main resources thread. Thanks for all of your hard work.

Just in answer to this, as useful information for all members... No moderators are permitted to delete posts or threads completely, not under any circumstances. Under some circumstances we may edit, but there has to be an exceptional reason. In this forum though, it is even more rare that I bow to requests to edit as that could be seen as "siding" with one part or another in a system and could offend some parts if I was to delete their words at request of another. So in general, I usually try to help people find some other satisfactory solution that doesn't involve editing. Hence my moving your comments to here instead of just deleting them from the other thread...
