Hey, Phenix. We're just talking about starting up a DnD game. We're still trying to figure $#%^ out. It's kind of tough to do on a forum though. You should join in, Brant. Don't worry about absences, we can figure something out.

A D&D game, huh? Hmm... I hate to be a stick in the mud, but I don't want anyone to get their hopes up too high and then be disappointed. We might not be able to do that, as much as we want to. I'll have to check, and it'll definitely need some more talking about. We kinda need to start getting our priorities in order a bit more before we start getting into something that takes time like that. Like, we need a job, and I'm even saying that, because I'm tried of not having money or being able to do anything. And we need to learn to not just stay on this site like, all the time. But like I said, we could work something out, I just don't want L.C. or anyone using the D&D as an excuse to push sh*t off further or replace other priorities, you know? And I'd hate for us to start something we can't really give time to. But we'll talk about it more and see if we can work something out anyway. 8) (Wow, I have changed a bit...)

Do any of you ever get the feeling you're just doing the same day over and over again? I've been getting that feeling recently and it's lame! Driving me nuts.

Thanks. Like I said, we definitely can talk about it more and see if something can work. I just didn't want there to be too much disappointment if it didn't work out.

Yes! All the time! I find it's worse if I keep coming out on the same day of the week, or the same time of the day, or something, because it's like, "Wait. Haven't I already been here?" and it's because it's the same time as the last time I was out.

for me it's because i'm always in the same room, computer next to me, tv on, and usually Jo's best friend texting her.

d@mn it, Jo's gained like 30 pounds. none of the sexy clothes I helped her buy fit anymore. i can't go outside in her frumpy stuff! so i'm stuck being inside and turning on music and trying to pretend i'm at the club.

Yeah, I can understand that. That would definitely cause some deja vu for me too!

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you two could work together to try losing weight or something? Like make it a team effort, and then maybe try something that uses music for exercise? I've heard of some new thing that uses dance and music for exercise called zumba, but I don't know if you guys have heard of it. Not sure how it works exactly, but I've heard good things about it. Or maybe you guys could try yoga, or doing your own work out, like maybe you could dance as if you were at the club? I used to do that as my workout. I'd put on my headphones, crank up the music, and then dance until I couldn't dance anymore. At first I couldn't dance that long 'cause my endurance had gone to sh*t, but don't let stuff like that get you discouraged. You're not going to be able to prance around perfectly the first go. But you can get better if you work on it and start to build up endurance and such.

Also, maybe as a group you all could work together to try and make sure you're all eating healthy and getting rest and such? Because food (obviously), stress, and lack of rest can have a huge impact on weight.

For me, it was the opposite. I got dressed yesterday and I was like, "Holy f*#k! I'm f*#king skinny!" But it's not a good thing. We lost weight because the twins aren't eating, and that's not the healthy or right way to go about losing weight (we weren't trying to lose weight, either. The twins are pretty much anorexic. The body isn't, but this is the biggest impact the twins have had on our weight loss so far). Like, I'm glad that our belly "pouch" that we had is gone, but our muscle mass is being lost too, and I'd rather actually fit my jeans, not need a belt for every pair. That and our rings are starting to not fit right anymore either. I've already told the twins it's time for this to stop and I'm eating whenever I'm out (if I'm hungry of course)!

yea, i try to exercise if i'm in the mood. that's the problem with most of us, we're not really ever "in the mood" for exercise. but we don't come out for long periods of time, unless our trigger is Jo freaking out about something. like i'll probably be out long enough to post this, then i'll go back in. for some reason we're not big on being out for a long time.

yea we mostly don't eat when we're out, except Barbara, she stuffs her face. i think that might be part of the problem. Jo is getting the food she eats, then if Barbara comes out that food too. but Barbara doesn't come out often, and Jo goes through spells of not eating at all. our eating habits are too inconsistent. starving herself one week, eating a lot the next, that's how Jo does it.

but Jo is going to sign up for a free weight loss program, but she's being lazy about. lame. dude, i'm just going to do it for her.

No one over here is ever in the mood to exercise, either. Or if they are, like Kat and Dallas, the others influence them too much, or they're out and won't exercise, or something like that. It's just something you have to force yourself to do at times.

That's ok. You don't have to be big on being out. But maybe you could try writing up plans/ideas to work on together as a team, or work on working together inside a bit to help Jo out, or something like that?

Oh man, yeah, that inconsistency would have a great effect! You don't need a weight loss program, you just need consistency and some exercise! Maybe write out a food plan, like "we eat at these times, and this is what we can eat" or something like that? Maybe have the husband help you out with that? Like if Barbara's out, maybe she can have a snack, and the husband can help make sure it stays a snack or something?

And then same with exercise. You could start slow, by being like, "This day is our exercise day", and then as you get better with that, you can bump it up, and be like "These two days are exercise days", and stuff like that.

A weight loss program can help, but it won't do anything unless you have some consistency with it and eating in general. And exercise goes a long way with a weight loss program. Just don't do any diets. They're not good for you and they don't do anything. Like that stupid carb-free diet that had people not eating bread. Your body needs carbs! That's what it burns for energy! It's when you eat more than you burn off that you start to gain weight. I swear, people sometimes...

Anyway, best of luck with everything!

You guys hear about the P90X workout videos? I dunno how much they are or anything (you could probably look 'em up on youtube or something) but the parents do it and they like it.
It's pretty intense though... even the stretching days. (apparently there're like... cycles of workouts) Yesterday was a stretch day and we (mostly G-Money) did it with the mom. It was fun, actually. They guy who does the program is pretty cool. He keeps things interesting. And each part you do is segmented in a way that you can see it on the screen... Like, there's a bar at the bottom that shows in grey where you are in the workout, then at the end of that bar is how much longer you have on the activity you're doing, and the time on the right is how much time total is left in the workout.

It's really intense though and people hurt themselves trying to do it. We're pretty sore from an hour of different stretches! But if you do it to the best of your ability and don't over-do things it seems like a cool thing to do.

Just thought I'd throw that in there. We're all excited to get our own place away from the parents so that we can do what we want around home without worrying about being seen. We'll do all kinds of things. We'll get our own cat and we'll do P90X, Jacob can go do kickboxing, Janus can do all the job stuff (haha  )
Hey!

Sorry, we're all happy to have a plan for the mostly-immediate future. One that the SO will more likely than not be a part of.

-"Kev" 8)

Oh yeah, Phenix has the right idea, too. Gatta be consistent. You know... we gatta work on that.
