British Documentary about Dissociative Fuge

Postby John Joe » Thu Feb 09, 2006 10:31 am

Dear forum members, my name is John *mod edit- name removed* and I'm researching a documentary about psychogenic amnesia and dissociative fugue for the high profile British documentary company *mod edit- name removed*. *mod edit-name removed* has a history of covering rare medical and psychological conditions in an intelligent and sensitive manner, always with upmost concern for the participants well-being. This project is the latest of many commissions we have received in the area of health/psychology for British and international broadcast.

We appreciate that there is often sensationalist coverage of cases of dissociative fugue in the media, but we want to go beyond those headlines, to tell the real stories of people who suffer from this type of amnesia. Of course an important part of this approach is speak to people who have lived with the condition, either sufferers, families or friends.

If you are interested in participating then please do not hesistate to get in contact with me. My email address is: *mod edit- details removed*

If he gets on tv, what's the problem, right? If it introduces people to the disorder/phenomenon, isn't that a good thing?
