One of the first things that my therapist noted that hinted at my multiplicity was that I was switching how I would refer or talk to myself, even in the middle of phrases.
For instance, she asked me what I was doing after my session, and I said "I think I'm going to try and get some shopping done. Wait, no - we won't have time. [to self] Well, you could make time."
Once I started taking notice of this, I found that the various different modes that I converse with myself coincide with different attitudes. "You" is generally scolding, informing, or authoritative, for example.
Does anybody else have these kind of pronoun shifts at all?

Yes--we have internal dialogue like that all the time. And out loud as well, if we're alone. It's helpful to us when we're trying to let the littles know about our plans, and reminding them of things they can look forward to when we get certain tasks done.
