Journey through the Aethernet

Hi! We're the Aethernet System!
I recently saw a "journey thread" and I figured "Hey, we should try this!" so here we are!
I guess we should get started, haha.
(This is based on the Conjoined Minds Saga! Thank you for inspiring this!)

Known alters: 7 (there might be more)
Body: African-American, decent health, currently in a group home, at a special program for school, 17
Home life: Currently in a group home with three other girls, usually at home living with my mother and two cats; single; no children; upper-middle class but thankful for it
Functionality: Poor (switching can be disruptive)
Official diagnosis: Dysthymia, PTSD, unspecified
Self-diagnosis: OSDD-1b

I know I'm young...like, really young...but I hope that this will provide some insight as to what goes on in our head!

Heyo, Day here -
The weekend was pretty stressful. There was a lot of switching because of an unsupervised attempt at trauma work and it stressed us out a lot. We found out more about the system, thanks to Bianca (our therapist). We know that Birdie is an introject of a bad person, but not particularly abusive...which might not even make sense. He's aloof, sexual, and a little too charismatic, just like him. And Finni might have been "formed" from the "Don't tell anyone, don't make a sound, don't say a word" threat.
We're trying to find out if there's anyone else that might have formed from other traumatic experiences, but that's all for today.

YESTERDAY WAS NOT FUN. There was a lot of disruptive switching and it was pretty yikes because I was in a fugue state for most of it and I couldn't even react or anything, and now people are telling me "Hi, you broke like ten rules" and I'm just...what. What is going on. UGH, it's stressing me out.

Hey hey, it's Day!

Yesterday, Bianca and I talked about OSDD-1b. She said that before the symptoms and disruptive switching got better, I had to get through the trauma work. Which is 100% realistic and understandable but it's been SO BAD lately, urgh.

I also compiled a list of EVERY SINGLE ALTER in the system, not just the active ones. It's been getting easier to keep track of them, especially because alters don't just...come and go as they please (@ 99% of "systems" on Vent).

As you can see, there's a lot, and there might even be more... But at least it's a lot easier to understand what's going on in my McFreaking head.

The current active alters are:

Cas and Asa mostly work internally and don't really need to front. Cas manages the children, and Asa takes care of the children, while Spade and Sophia take care of the older alters. I guess that's why they're so blatantly separated and sometimes confused. I thought Spade was trans for a while because I was more aware of Cas... Whoops.
I'm going to adjust my signature accordingly now that I know what the heck's going on.

So this is a system that just kinda came to my mind, lol. It works as long as everyone cooperates.
Basically each alter posts under a different color. The colors are VERY distinct, so there shouldn't be ANY CONFUSION as to who's posting. If everyone cooperates it should be easy. In theory. Here's hoping.

Weekly Update
I'm gonna try to keep up with this because I suck and I haven't lately, whoops. Busy, busy. Plus I'm in a really bad episode of Misery and Emptiness™ so cut me some slack!
Anywhale, Bianca (my therapist) and I finished trauma work recently! *dab* I'm so happy, it took for-friggin'-ever. So switching's been a lot less frequent now (except between me and Birdie because he's an intrusive asshole) and much more controlled.
Plus we all found a new coping skill in Fullmetal Alchemist! It's such an awesome anime, plus Maes Hughes is husband of the century...don't talk to me he's so cute aaAAAA-
*ahem*
Back to the regularly scheduled program.
I'm getting discharged soon (in like a month) and I'm hype. I never want to do anything like this EVER AGAIN.
