Is this dissociation or something else?

What is it called when you look at people's faces and they look alien...that they don't look human anymore and it scares you? I have dissociation problems my whole life..is this part of that or something else? It happens now and then for the last few years and it's really awful...it's like human faces look foreign.. like I've never seen them before...they are alien and the mouth and nostrils and all look strange...like a creature I've never seen or I'm seeing for the first time. What is this? Is there a name for it? Is it part of my derealization or is it psychosis or something?

I think some people have written about similar experiences on the derealization forum. Have you found any support there?
