Event Horizon: A boundary in spacetime beyond which events cannot affect an outside observer

I think I've found a good method. The science is good, and my research points to reliability and a low risk for pain. I've spent quite a bit of time reading and researching, and it's the best I've found.

I typed up the list of loose ends to tie up, and things I want to do. It's longer than I hoped, but shorter than I thought. The act of typing it felt...well, I'm not sure. It's taking more time than I'd like.

I even did something VERY uncharacteristic (to clarify, if any of you new me in real life you'd have no clue I was going through this. My mask is a polished thing). I told a friend what I was planning, and he just nodded and kept on with his own conversation. I may as well been talking about the weather.

People give me a hard time at work and whatnot, and it's almost laughable. The irrelevance of it all would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

Objects that pass through the event horizon theoretically seem to never pass through at all, hanging in limbo, when in fact it is swallowed whole, gone forever into the forever nothing.

Well I hope that list is mighty long.

You don't post much but I always like reading your posts. Yes, that makes me a bit selfish. But I also hate to see someone who expresses themself so eloquently waste their talent and potential.

Please consider putting as much effort into finding hope again, at least as much as you will into finishing that list. It seems like you've entirely lost hope and its absence is colouring everything grey.

Your friend is a jerk for ignoring your pain. Your coworkers are too blinded by their own issues to care for yours. It doesn't excuse their lack of empathy, but there really are better people to interact with. They're out there.

You're not seeing clearly if you think that you can simply disappear without a trace. There will be aftershocks rippling to others you've left behind. No matter how sweetly you say goodbye, they will be angry at themselves for not being able to do something. That type of anger can last a very long time, sometimes the person's entire life.

I hope you'll keep posting here, or reading what others have done to feel like waking up each day has a purpose again. Please take care.
Blame it on me, but know that I won't regret one iota.

Life is out of balance. The world is. Disassembled cogs in search for an axle float aimlessly. Or not. Alike me. Her. You.

You have made your mask fit too well. Too good a job. You are morphing onto it as it morphs back. Blurred identity lines. People see what you originally meant them to. Now you can hardy remember what that alias was. The Balseraph senses weakness and sends more whispers.

Colours have no meaning. Revel in the majesty of the Grey. It is your own. You can shape it as you deem fit, play with the light. See the Horizon and discard the Event. It is meaningless.

A crafter gave you two gifts that reek of poison. Cognition and memories. Posing questions that no one can answer and recollections that no one will keep. An in vitro experience with no glass as testament.

Your imprint though soars above you. It transcends dimensions. It affects today. Tomorrow. Yesterday. It belongs to you only through proxy. Nevertheless, it is your legacy. And it is sacred.

Perdix knocks.Tell him you are not entertaining guests today. His desire to smother hope is your beacon. Not today.

Quoting Dr. Manhattan;"It's too late. Always has been. Always will be." That's why you have time. Even more so than you think.

Thank you for your invitation.
We are fighting the darkness without, we are fighting the darkness within. In that, we are alone. In that, we are legion.
