I'm not sure what to do anymore, I feel like I'm ready to give up. I'm 24 with bipolar 1 disorder, diagnosed bpd and social anxiety. I'm going to cut to the chase and say that I've tried medications, therapy, talking to friends. It's my self-esteem that fuels my depression and ennui. It's also stands to increase the depression itself by affecting my ability to feel good or confident about doing anything.
I need to know if there's a solution out there that anyone can recommend that's suitable for me; I need something to jump-start my self-confidence. I'm looking for a proverbial punch in the face, at any expense. Even a real punch in the face would be appreciated. I'm also interested in receiving electroconvulvise therapy, as a last resort to ease the depression.

Batgirl, have you tried therapies that help BPD people in particular? Dialectical Behavior Therapy is said to be very good.
