light boxes are better to treat depression the sun lamps.

Depends on what your dealing with... not all sun lamps work. Gotta do your research before purchase.

cool, you know, there are studies about this, i saw one on dateline on time i think, it dicussed how people who live up north and in alaska and canada always got depressed because the sun went down so soon, so they got better by having the lamp on, look it up:)
somtimes, it's like i want to touch these lights, and give into them become them, just a flash for a moment~in this world

Well the reason why people suffer from seasonal depression is not because of the shorter days it's also because the way the sun is tilted this time of year, people are benefiting from it as much.

Mora if you think that lightboxes or sun laps you'd benefit from do your research on all the different types out there because even though there are alot of sun lamps and lightboxes out there not all of them do work. In order for them to work you need to be sitting up close to them, have at least the corner of one eye always constantly facing the light. 30 minutes is what people usually say to sit in front of it, however I don't because it makes me feel a bit funky.

Definatly read up on it first.. the ones that are high up or too small wont work, because like I sit got to sit in front of it and it should be tilting down. Good luck.

Oh..!!It's so frustrating that you lost your solar lamp's bulb :( . I think you should not buy a full lamp, only a bulb can be used for this purpose. You may find such a lamp at any solar technology store. It will be available easily.
