Depression Relapse

Postby BeardedGuy » Thu Dec 29, 2005 10:12 pm

I recently lost my job under unpleasant circumstances, and have been experiencing a relapse of my severe depression symptoms: Today, I stayed in bed until noon, lost interest in pleasurable activities, couldn't get myself started on a job hunt, and am in general feeling hopeless. I have been taking Wellbutrin and Buspar for several years, and the treatment has been very successful. I have been depression free for quite a long time until now. Are such relapses common under very stressful conditions, and are they hopefully temporary when on a successful drug regimen?

You got to talk to your dock about it. Personally I think it would be abnormal (& inhumane) if someone wouldn’t get depressed under these circumstances. However this may lead to bigger (long term) problem if you do nothing. Give your self hope. Tell your self you now may find something better and look for what can be better.

it's ok sweetie:) it'll get better, just smile and look at everything like it's tiny tiny tiny! cause it's all the small things, and if you look at things like that, they aren't as daunting, and they become easier with each passing day, and keep talking, the best way to get it out it to get it out:)
somtimes, it's like i want to touch these lights, and give into them become them, just a flash for a moment~in this world
