Method for healing depression

Postby Sy_75 » Wed Dec 07, 2005 12:28 pm

Found an interesting article today. A excercise for healing depression. Full article at: Method for healing depression

The author encourges us to seek our own personal source for spiritual guidance, and a method of doing this is to personify this through a loving, wise and powerful being. Be it animal, man or woman. Then the author ask how does the ache of depression symptomize itself.

We are then suggested to vision our depressed self as a child within, and ask when the vision is established what age would the child be.

This might all sound ludicrous, but I am tired of being depressed and feeling like I am hitting my head against the wall. I belive I can find a solution to my problems, and the energy and will to do something about it. And it just makes sense that when you are comfortable with yourself, you will also be comfortable with others.

...dont curse the dark, but light a candle.

If you would like to read more about me attempting this exercise and my experience with this visit my blogspot ~ Personal source of spiritual guidance
