it said in teh ######6 pamphlet that this ###$ MEDICINE was for bipolar and schizophrenia and that it was an anti-psychotic so why is the ######6 psychiatrist giving it to me when i have recieved no more diagnosis than depression and social anxiety disorder

hey, hey, calm down, i know how that feels to be labled sorta with schizophrenia, it's ######6 scary as hell, it's like you just had the ground under your feet pulled out from under you and you are falling....but hey it's ok, somtimes they give antipsychotics to people with disorders other thna the ones they were created to fight, if it works, then don't think about what it may have been created to treat, just be happy that it's helping you, so lets not let that paranoia get to us to much eh? lol, man i remember new meds, the first thing i did was read the entire pamplet about it, and then i'd do searches online, gosh, just calm down though, if you really did have schizophrnia, then you'd probably be put on more than 2 meds right now, like two diff. anti-psychs, i've been on the schizo forum since i joined, so i know that they are on alot more meds, or none if they think it'll destroy their mind, etc. well, i hope that helps:)

hey, at least your label right now isn't "psychotic features" when i have an episode, it's like i'm schizophrenic, which btw i was almost labeled with, but eh i wouldn't have stayed on the meds, i hate them, on risp. i got like shakes in my left arm somtimes, but they weren't relaly annoying, and thewn i kinda lost my spark in life, even when i'm depressed, i still have acertain spark and sharpness, you know, yeah, thats why i stopped meds, gawd i go in tangents, i'm sorry, but yeah, i don't think you have schizo, otherwise you would be on like 4 meds and then would be talking on these forums, or like you'd be on here like you are all fools! i was abducted by aliens last night! viva the revalution!hah!--o gawd i've been online too long

yeah i guess the medication does help me calm down pretty good then. whenever my mind starts racing or i can't sleep at night i just swallow one of those puppies down and it helps a lot

word, and thats why i want some more, but for know smoking weed about every night, works quite well as an alternative, i hope you feel better, you aren't really as sick as you may be paranoid that you are, if you were you prob wouldn't be online and talking, i remember when i was reeeeaaaal sick from abilify, i never got online, i just couldn't handle anything! but now, i'm good:)
