I have been on 60mg of prozac a day for a few years now. I got a letter in the mail from my insurance company that they would not continue to pay for that dosage/ amount of pills. Prozac only comes in the 20mg capsules, which means I must get the 90 count for a month. They are no longer paying for that
Has anyone else run into this situation with you anti-depressant meds, where the insurance company decides that you can no longer be on a certain dosage of a med?

I haven't been in your situation before, but typically insurance companies like to do things like this to see if you'll put up a fuss. It saves them money if you don't complain.
Speak to your prescribing doctor and get them to write a note. You can also ask your pharmacist to explain the dosage and such in a letter and send it to your case manager at the insurance company as well.
Blame it on me, but know that I won't regret one iota.
