what they do is give you short acting barbituates to make you fall fast asleep, and then they adminster the drug SUCCINHOYL to relax all of your muscles so you do not have spams during the treatment. then they send smooth pulses of electricity throughout your brain and it makes you feel better in sometimes just 1 treatment. it is definitely not what it used to be, and it has recieved some very bad attention, but i it is a wonderful and life-saving treatment, really.

I'm not an expert, as I've never undergone it, but I've covered it in a lot of classes, and it doesn't sound good. I was shocked to learn they still use the treatment. It kills brain cells and such, does it not? People become walking zombies after having undergone it too many times. It's like a slow lobotomy...
