Nerdboy and jocasey,

Its great that Prozac worked for you. Personally Prozac gave me massive panic attacks and kept me awake for about 5 days straight until I ended up back in the hospital. Zoloft happened to work great for me.

More importantly I need to clear up the title of this thread - Prozac is not a cure, it is a treatment. Your results were great but some people may not respond at all to Prozac and others may have adverse effects from it. Each person is different so the treatment they need to recover may be different.

If you look at it like pain medication it might make some sense. Everyone has different tolerances, some medications may be too weak or too strong for certain people, and some may be allergic. I also believe that talk therapy needs to be a part of every recovery effort. If you can't talk about (or don't understand) what is going on then you're likely to have the same problem again.

This post sounds a bit like spam to me.

I don't think anyone should be telling members what they HAVE to talk. Prozac will help others, and it wont help others.

I don't know, I think this post is inapropriate, and I think that both of the posters are from the same person... :|

Well I think they are both from people who had great results from Prozac and wanted to share their experience. There were no links in the post so it isn't about getting traffic.

I don't have any problem with the second post on the drug, the first one kinda struck me as odd.

It was a bit odd but his feelings are no different than how I felt about Zoloft when I felt the Depression leaving me. I still swear that the drug saved my life... I just wanted people to understand that drugs are not a "cure" just a treatment, and more than that thay they are not necessarily for everyone. I believe that talk therapy is the most effective treatment for Depression.

Of course that's just my opinion... and that and a penny will buy you a piece of penny candy.

prozac really helped me, it was a god-send, and for awhile i was over this depression, but i think i'm going back on it soon, it's all back, btu anywho, it does work quite well, but it's not a cure, a cure would be a eutopia where all we did was good thinsg for our body and mind, and no stress, that would be a cure fromt his hell of a life
somtimes, it's like i want to touch these lights, and give into them become them, just a flash for a moment~in this world
