It's even possible to register an account online with some health-care providers, and get the records displayed on your computer! You may have to print out a form and mail it in with a photocopy of your ID before you can access records online or they may provide you with access based on your registration information, but once done, the info is at your fingertips. Check with your provider. Even if you had a different health care provider, the records should still be electronically kept.
What's better, is that on those records will be what medications, and who prescribed themI had to intern at a hospital in order to complete my degree (which amounted to me mostly just handling clerical duties: cleaning, answering phones, making/changing/canceling appointments and literally, making coffee), and there are ways of getting records from way back in the day. If you are still having trouble getting them from your carrier, i can call a buddy I made at the hospital and see what she suggests.
