Despair not! If you have had the same insurance company, they should have all records saved. It's even possible to register an account online with some health-care providers, and get the records displayed on your computer! You may have to print out a form and mail it in with a photocopy of your ID before you can access records online or they may provide you with access based on your registration information, but once done, the info is at your fingertips. Check with your provider. Even if you had a different health care provider, the records should still be electronically kept.

What's better, is that on those records will be what medications, and who prescribed them :D I had to intern at a hospital in order to complete my degree (which amounted to me mostly just handling clerical duties: cleaning, answering phones, making/changing/canceling appointments and literally, making coffee), and there are ways of getting records from way back in the day. If you are still having trouble getting them from your carrier, i can call a buddy I made at the hospital and see what she suggests.

We got this!

I was on medicaid when I was in foster care, unknowingly, so unless they still have my records I have no idea how to get those records.

Did you try looking up your state's (or the state you were treated in) medicaid's phone number on google, and calling them?

Well, I got the case number for it, but no real records. I'm not exactly sure what records Medicaid would have; I know there were the hospital records, which I am getting, but there were also a bunch of therapists I was seeing at the time, but they don't have my records, anymore, and I doubt Medicaid would have copies of those records.

I'd suggest exhausting every possible avenue to try and get those records. They'd be a pretty useful thing to have, to be sure.

Paxil has been found to cause two other significant side effects: increased thoughts of suicide, and complications for those with pre-existing heart conditions. It also causes birth defects to babies whose mothers were on Paxil. For more information on Paxil, its side effect, Paxil Lawsuit and Paxil Lawyer, just read related articles.

I definitely had the increased thoughts of suicide while on Paxil; I'm waiting for the doc to clear my medical records from the two times I was in the psych ward for suicidal thoughts while on paxil to be released so I can get a hold of them. I'm not entirely sure about the complications with the heart; I'll need to get a thorough physical to be sure.

On the subject of side effects, I was recently put on Abilify to supplement my current Prozac, but I had to be taken off of it because of bizarre, scarily destructive dreams I was having, along with an increase in irritability. I was only taking 1mg of the stuff, but if I had that kind of a reaction to such a little dosage of the stuff, I'm starting to wonder just how sensitive my body is to the medications I take, and why it seems like it's only selectively hitting me with the negative side effects instead of the positive main effects.
