Messages for Matt

I've got a favor to ask. I know I'm new here, but this is my plan for the day.

I had a very rough night with Matt. He's coming to grips with the fact that he's DID and he thinks he's a freak. What I'm asking is if any of you, that have been at the place he is right now could put some messages on this thread for him to read. Maybe if he sees that what he's experiencing is not unusual for people that have been through the things he's been though and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I know for all of us, that light seems pretty dim, at times. I'm not asking for anyone to pretty it all up and put a bow on it to make him think dealing with this is going to be easy, but he's not alone. (psss, please don't lecture and bring out Mr. Angry, my mental state can't handle him right now).

Matt, all I can say is that someone I care about has this condition and things aren't as hopeless as they seem. From the perspective of a friend, I can tell you that people learn to deal with this.
You can have friends who love you and a normal life.

Hey Matt, things have been tough. But don't ever give up, I have seen many people like yourself coming out great and you will too. Stay close to those who love and care for you, take life easy, and you will be fine.
