I tried to get it here before I went to my GP but it is prescription-only. It is probably the same where you are because I am in Ireland and whatever ye do, we do. Regarding it's benefits, I cannot advise - sorry.

apparently its available to buy in england if ur 16+ or something and they got rid of it in ireland for some reason.
