The title explains it. I live in a city where every office is full or doesnt take my insurance. My insurance doesnt cover TeleMed either. My situation is getting a bit worse. Has anyone else been in this situation?

Hi Bryce,
You didn't say why you are looking for a pdoc, and depending on the condition may depend on how you go about finding one. If you live in a reasonably sized city and don't have crappy health coverage (like I do lol) you should be able to find a pdoc that will accept it. Where I live the easiest route is to have your GP Dr. refer you. Second easiest is to get a referral first to a therapist who can then refer you to a pdoc. Alternatively you could expand the area you consider "reasonable". You probably won't be seeing your pdoc more than once every 1 to 3 months so its not like you'll have to get there every week. Finally have you could just forget about using your insurance and self pay. Unfortunately that is the situation I have found myself in, but it does get around the problem of someone not taking your insurance.
