Hello,
The main symptom that I have experienced with my depression is chronic fatigue. I have tried a few antidepressants over the years. All of them have caused my fatigue to worsen. In some cases, my fatigue and drowsiness became so severe (like when I tested Lexapro and Cymbalta) that I was unable to drive or work.
Is Wellbutrin the only antidepressant that rarely causes fatigue or drowsiness in depression sufferers?
Has anyone with profound chronic fatigue taken another antidepressant and eventually overcome the drowsiness/fatigue side effects?
Thanks.

every medication i've been on has had this side effect, there really isn't much you can do as long of meds do have that. It does go away once your body gets use to it, sometimes even after a couple days.

I am on cymbalta 30mg and have so much energy i can hardly settle down to go to sleep. i feel almost euphoric at times and no fatigue at all. most other meds i tried knocked me out although i recall paxil and wellbutirn did not. i recommend cymbalta bigtime.
