Depression and Anxiety

Postby Imnoo » Tue Sep 15, 2015 2:56 pm

I have been taking anti depressants since 2 yrs now.
3months back my doctor changed the course from sulpitac 200/oleanz 2.5mg,pacitine 2 to Sulpitac 200mg,Sizopin,Cipralex.
after the chance of course I felt really better.I was able to study and was able to talk to people.
The major issues that still remained were lack of emotions( I didn't feel anything major while watching emotional movies, loss of interest in daily things, can't cry or feel emotions),minor anxiety(once a week social anxiety)and over eating.
But I really felt quite normal and after 3 months I again visited the doctor and he changed my course to Sulpitac 300mg,Sizopin 25,Pacatine 2.
But now again after taking these meds for a week I feel the blues again.I am not able to study properly concentrate, have a heavy head and still the not being able to feel any emotion problem.
what should I do? should I wait for some time and then go to my doc and tell him the problems? or should I change my psychiatrist? I am not seeing any progress as I expected. I thought this would be my last visit to the doc but now he has increased the course to more 6months. I don't know how I will study without any interest and live without emotions.
please help! thanks.

Hello,

my suggestion: call your pdoc and tell him what is happening and that you are feeling worse on the new cocktail than you did before. Possibly it's just a question of time and you will get back to feeling like you did before. But it might also be that the change was not the right thing to do. In any case, your doctor should hear from you, so he can either reverse the course or tell you not to worry about it and that things will improve.

Greetings and big hugs if wanted.
Currently working on my upcoming signature.
