Awake for over 24 hours, do you take medication as usual?

Postby JDW » Sun Sep 13, 2015 12:14 am

Taking anti depressants and I'm wondering whether your supposed to take your daily tablets even if you've not had sleep. As it's the next day so sleep or no sleep it shouldn't matter, should it? I mean your meant to take them daily so no matter your sleeping patterns as long as your taking them each day, then it's okay to do so?

It's far better than missing a day or two whenever you can't sleep, anyone got any info?

Yes, take it as usual. The times that you take it are not related to your sleeping patterns except that some antidepressants are better to take at night because they have a sedative effect and some are better to take in the morning because they have a stimulant effect.
