I need help...

Postby Dark_Soul302 » Tue Aug 11, 2015 6:00 am

I recently went through a harsh break up. She was my would, my everything, my reason to live and breathe. Her and I had a close relationship so close we decided to have sex. Then the school year came along and 2 months in.. She found another guy and had sex with him. I was so heart broken. I felt betrayed.. Humiliated.. Angry.. Revengeful... And suicidal. Shortly after that I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. To this day no medicine they prescribe me will help, everyday I would fall to my knees holding a bible in my hand begging God to help... I was forced to use drugs. And now I'm in a deep dark hole.. Someone.. Anyone dig me out.. Please.

It sucks to use drugs. Hope you can find a way without it and get your quality of life back.

I know, but I have no idea how. It's hopeless.

I'm sorry man. I went through something similar. My ex broke up with me and got with another guy. I started using drugs so recklessly... heroin, meth, coke, you name it. I am not one to sugar coat, but I can say that it is possible to break away from the pain. This is way way easier said than done -- I still think about her all the time -- but try to forget her or try to keep those memories under wraps until you feel more healthy. Again, that may sound impossible, it certainly sounds extremely difficult to me.

But you can do this. I hope the very best for you.
Current meds: bupropion, lamotrigine, fluvoxamine, gabapentin, trazodone, picamilon (supplement), fish oil (supplement)

Thank you, it's feels good to know I'm not alone. I just want to be pain free and innocent again. Maybe my happiness isn't meant to be.

I felt like that for a long time and I still feel like happiness is just this elusive... unattainable thing. But that's a moot point. I think that we (humanity) places too much emphasis on this abstract "thing" called happiness... But we don't even know what that is. That is both a source of great terror and a source of hope.

I think that the mind gets numbed to this pain after a while. It's not at all "better" but that numbness can sometimes be easier to cope with than the pain of a loss...

My mind has been numbed. But you've given me a way to look at this a little more rationally.
