Hi,
I've been struggling with mental illness for about 10 years, mainly anorexia. However, my weight is just about healthy although other things have got worse.
Last week, I had an assessment with a Psychiatrist; she was very understanding but I found it pretty hard as it made it all real.
On my assessment letter it said:
•F32.1 (does anyone know what this means)
On-going trauma from past events
Opiate addiction (ordering prescription only medication online)
Many thanks.

I found from my own experience that it's hard to make headway with other issues while abusing substances. I would advice stopping the opiates if you can. I'm not saying nothing can be helpful if you are addicted to drugs but it will probably be much less effective. I had to have help from others to have any chance at all of getting clean and sober. You clearly have some good attributes since you have the courage and humility to make the post to this forum. Few people can ever get that far.
