I am afraid of taking the antidepressants I'm on now and wish to get off of them because I heard that cause brain damage. Many people think that they instead grow new brain cells and such. But here in this article, he says that this is flawed evidence. Also, there are reports of people who have had their lives destroyed by antidepressants who have had permanent anhedonia and many other things as well from these medications.
Here is the article that talks about antidepressants causing brain damage:

I'm no help in telling you anything about this, but I would also like to know that. Also, I find it hard to believe that it grows new brain cells. I didn't take many antidepressants because I thought they would mess with my brain somehow (in a bad way, like killing brain cells), I would like to know if I was not completely wrong.

This is honestly the first time ever I hear anything like this, and I've been taking antidepressants (and researching them for my own knowledge) since 2005.
Currently working on my upcoming signature.

This is true but it's not just antidepressants, I took anti-psychotics and it has happened to me as well. I'm just now getting off of it because I have now realized what has happened to me.
