With the recent death of Steve Irwin, I wondered if anyone else is as affected by stories in the news about people dying that you've never met, and which celebrity death has upset you the most?

I've been having a really hard time hearing about our soldiers dying in the war. For some reason, when I think about who they've left behind, it really saddens me. The worst episode of this was when Princess Diana died. I sat in bed and cried for hours, thinking about her sons. At that point, my Mom was still alive, so I'm not sure why it struck so close to home, but it did.

I get sad every time I hear anyone died. That's part of why I stopped watching the news. I shiver when I hear anything so tragic. Especially wen they have kids or were trying to save kids and died in the process or some such tragic event.

Ok - Don't think I am weird but I am sad for Tori Spelling. I grew up watching a lot of Aaron Spelling's shows and feel really sorry for Tori and her family right now. I was a fan of Mr. Spelling.

Also John Ritter - Mostly becuase of Three's Company. Call me strange. I also have a soft side for the Golden Girls so when one of them pass, I might be tore up over that too. :(

But on a less cheesy note, I was deeply saddened by Princess Diana. I became pretty fascinated and got caught up in all the hoopla like everyone else.

I'm really not kidding so don't think that I am mocking this....
