I am a 58 year old male, and have been clinically depressed since 1975. I can't cry. I don't stay in bed. The world is dead to me. Everything is dead. Trees, stars, etc. No life. It's horrifying.
Now to a different type of depression. When I was coming off of heroin, I cried like a baby. I went to NA group, started to speak and ended up crying. I walked out. Note: Don't get strung out on heroin. Or Methadone. If you need to do heroin, do it twice a week. Never more often. Once a week is better.

That's some painfully won experience, Roger. I appreciate you sharing it.
“We think too much and feel too little.
More than machinery, we need humanity.
More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.”
