I faced my anxiety and depression head on and won!

Postby joebobmichael » Sun May 14, 2006 8:24 pm

hi I had severe OCD for at least 25 years and depression and anxiety attacks and on and on and even tried suicide! Today I am happy and leading a relatively free from OCD. I beat it a most unconventional way and wrote a book about it called Man, Interrupted. It's out in bookstores in UK Australia NZ etc or you can order it from america like I did at www.amazon.co.uk go check out the synopsis. It's not easy but I think my book will inspire you to try! best Jim. if you read it give me some feedback at joebobmichael13@yahoo.com I hope it will give you some laughter tooo

Sorry, dude, but you should look at topics and responses.

We just want to hear that we are right about not being able to do anything. We want support and understanding. For ex: “poor you” “you are true victim” sympathy etc. Did you say support for what? Hello, for not doing anything.

And if you or anybody else could do something or fix it, we don’t want to hear about it. It makes us mad.

Like we said, first we don’t want to; second you are wrong. Obviously, you and others didn’t have the same thing. And, the doctor was biased or you paid him for diagnosis. Whatever we don’t need things to make sense or any proofs.

I hope that all who suffer from any form of mental illness can get help and hope from these forums. A certain number of people do recover from mental illness and led very productive lives. That fact needs to be heard by all with mental illness.
