Depression issues/sick of it all,

Postby survivor101 » Thu Apr 13, 2006 2:28 pm

:( Well, I haven't posted here for awhile. I have had bronchitis and depression is still kicking my butt. Went back to work after being sick for almost a week. Life is sure a real bummer. It seems I can never get a break from any of it. I want to run away from reality and society. But you can only run so long before it and people catch up to you. So as they say I'm basically "toast". Still trying to deal with death of mom. Getting a little better as days go by. But still miss and agonize over losing her...

Hey,

You say that you want to run away but perhaps you can 'Run Away' in a different sense: Would you ever think of moving house, city, job, and beginning a life anew? I believe that depressed people need changes in their lives more often than non-depressed people.

Hey hopefully I will get a new job. Change can be both good and bad.

Can you try to make a change that will be good though? I know that you can never be 100% sure that a change will be good but you can always do things that you think will give best results.
