Help needed, victim here

Postby yellah » Mon Dec 10, 2012 4:45 am

I need to get some help on a serous on going issue. My life has been ruined and made a living hell for the last 13 years by someone who is infatuated with me. I can give all the allergations about this but I won't do that as I have no proof.

Just lately and as times gone on I've been realising the reality of this situation never ending. I've done all I can to make my day to day life as good as possible but its just no where near a normal standard.

I've tried to speak to people about what's going on but it's all too hard for anyone to believe. I've really had enough. I've put effort into all aspects of my life and I feel as if there is no further room for improvement. I feel as if I've wasted my time and things won't improve. I'm bored of the same thing going on everyday. I'm not suicidle and have no intention of taking the extream way out, but I really am out of ideas.

I would like to talk to someone who would take in my situation and help with advise if poss. But it would need to be someone that's very open minded and mentally secure as my problem is the kind that is not for anyone going through a vounrable phase in their life.

If there is any psychiatrists on here that would listen to my situation and circumstances it really would be appreciated

I hope I've posted this in the correct part of the forum. I was looking through the list for a victims support part which is probably more relivent but couldn't find one.

Hope to hear from someone who will try to help.

I'm not a psychiatrist, but I know a very knowledged psychologist. If you give me details about the situation, I can either try to help you myself (I'm very advanced in the studies myself) or I can ask her for her input.
The only difference between a psychiatrist and a psychologist is that psychiatrists can legally perscribe medicine.

There are very few therapists here, yellah, and none of them can formally treat you or help because this is a peer support forum. They aren't licenced or insured to practice here. There are many regular people here willing to read and discuss what you say, though. I hope that might be of some help to you. Otherwise I'd recommend finding a therapist locally, where you can tackle this issue in a safe, private and therapeutic environment.

As for being in the right forum, it's up to you. From what you've said, you could perhaps say more in stalking-harassment/ or somewhere else within abuse-issues/
