um nightmares?!

Postby Troubled. » Sat Jun 09, 2012 2:09 pm

Hi everyone.. As I said before, I suffer from DP. But now, I'm starting to have terrible nightmares, everytime I go to sleep, its always a bad dream. I also almost ALWAYS wakeup through the night. I've started a new medication. Does this have anything to do with it??

it may do. What medication are you taking? Has anything else in your life changed lately?

I always have horrible nightmares too when my symptoms are bad. It is also always accompanied with poor circulation. I wake up all through the night with my arms and hands asleep. Each time I wake up, I wake from a night mare.

But when I am lucky enough to get a small amount of relief, my arms do not fall asleep, and I do not have night mares. But I still don't sleep enough, but I will take what I can get.

I'm taking an anxiety medication called risperidone! And like I get really weird dreams now. Where my dp causes me to feel like nothing exists not even me, I feel more strange and unreal now. I had a dream like that before I woke up and now I'm afraid that my dp is actually going to become worse :(
