I DESPERATELY need Lawrence Barsalou ' s personal contact information. I have been suffering from SEVERE Derealization for years, with suicidal thoughts, and he is the only person who would ever be able to understand the jargon that makes up my symptoms. The phone number listed on barsaloulab.org doesn't work and he never replies to any of my emails

I looked up Lawrence Barsalou and I see he is an academic and has nothing to do with clinical work. He is not clinically trained, not licensed, and his research does not focus on pathology.
Are you in the UK? Have you tried contacting MIND for a referral? Or the Pottergate Centre? They know all about severe derealization.

No, I'm not in the UK. I'm in upstate New York. What I need is someone who would be able to understand lots of complicated esoteric jargon that not even most therapists would be able to understsnd.

It's very unlikely a UK academic is going to be able to offer any help. Professionally he couldn't advice you when you're not a patient or in the UK. Even if you can contact someone at the University they are not going to give out anyone's personal contact details like that. I have no idea who this person is, but if they are based at the University then why not simply write a letter to him there. I suspect you're only going to get a polite, can't help you letter in response though if you get a reply at all. It sounds like you would be far better seeking help and support in New York. Surely there are doctors there who specialise in this area?

I think I'd better look for someone in NY. But it can't just be any therapist, it needs to be someone who very highly specialized with cognitive science, especially when aspergers is involved.

Well, this professor would not see you even if you were in Glasgow: he does not have a clinical practice.
To find an appropriate therapist you might try the ISSTD (isst-d.org) "Find a Therapist" search tool.
Good luck.
