Does DP cause any of you guys to look at life extremely literally and find life extremely boring? like no madder what you do your bored? Its different from depression I've had that before, this is almost like i see through the illusion of life"s distractions and now everything seems boring, and that is causing me to be depressed and i get these urges to escape but you can't escape life so that makes it worse.

I wonder whether in a heightened state of awareness it can be like that, the need for other levels that will take us away from the humdrum of reality, unfortunately life can be boring but it is what we make of it, really hope you find a way to be able to see that some normality is actually good to ground us because of the familiarity of it. I do get what you are meaning and get like that sometimes ourselves.

being real in what ever form we take does take courage because we are real.
