im trying catharsis method right now, you should read about it, its really useful. it was invented by josef breuer and sigmund freud. a good book to start on is a interpretation of dreams, it just gets all the fundamental psychological principles out of the way. a good writer on dissociative disorder is valerie sinason, i love her shes really good.
anyway, with catharsis method theres lots of screaming and crying and even seizures but its really for filling and makes me an my alts feel alot better, its all about relinquishing negative affect from dissociative memories and letting it all out all at once and sometimes it can be painful. i read when all your memories have came back in full you will feel alot better so thats what im trying to do right now.
