is suicide easier for someone who has depersonalization?

since nothing feels real I would assume that committing suicide would be comparable to getting ready for bed and going to sleep.
In this fleshly tomb I am buried above ground.

I'm not sure if "easier" is the right word to use, but yes, I would assume that people who suffer from depersonalisation have an increased risk of suicidal acts.
No diagnosis, lots of opinions, and a bunch of issues that I haven't quite figured out.

yeah, i think it'd seem easier, the act itself. making the choice to do it, that'd still be hard. knowing you'd be hurting your friends and family, etc.

When you have depersonalization disorder, it's my understanding that you know and understand reality and you are fully aware of what's going on. I have this disorder and it's weird for me.

I feel like I am just outside my body watching things happen. It makes me more vulnerable to the bad alter who does things she shouldn't be doing. I see it and I can't stop it.

My solution, which took a while to figure it, was to get the bad one under control. I asked for help and several of my alters are helping me out and it's working. She hasn't been able to do anything bad for over a year.

I tell her that I love her every day and thank her for her help. Think she's softening up a bit.

But yeah from personal experience it is easier.
