I have noticed that I keep depending on people a lot. the person i depend on right now i keep freaking out when i cant talk to her. it hurts so much. she is leaving the country for a little while and i cant seem to calm down about it. i really am so lost at what to do. i dont know what is wrong with me. i feel crazy because i know i shouldnt care at all. but i do not want her to go. i really dont. i hate myself.

Hey, it's okay to be this way in the short term - or in certain situations - but in the long term it will not serve your life much good. I think it's important to understand why you become dependent on people - do you know why? Let me propose this to you: You struggle to form ideas about what to do alone and/or you don't have the self-confidence to make decisions about your own life. thus, you let others make decisions for you, and that creates a great dependence on others.
Dependence can be turned into independence over time. What can you realistically do by yourself when no-one is there to be with you? A walk is an idea, or talking to people on the Internet. Coming here is a good idea too in order to talk about the issue (as you are doing now). Other options include: volunteering for a charity; going to a museum; writing poetry; and more...
Take care
Kevin
