Worried About My Mom

I visited my mom last week and I noticed that she's acting a bit strange. She seemed not to recognized me and she's really forgetful of so many things. She even loses her interest in going out with friends. I realized These might be some symptoms of Dementia. I'm worried and I want to hear some of your advice about it.
