As long as she is seeing a psychiatrist for *something* it's a good idea, just in case the delusions come back. Good luck.
She is extremely reluctant to discuss anything about those periods. If I do bring it up she might grudgingly admit she had "problems" back then but gets extremely angry if I try to discuss details.
From what I HAVE been able to tell her memory of the time is distorted. She simply doesn't remember events that happened in those periods the same way I do, doesn't remember things she said to me or to other people the way I or they do, etc. I gather from other people on this board that this is pretty common.
Yes, I consider it a step forward that she is at least seeing a psychiatrist for something, that is definitely a step forward from where we were this time last year. On that level she admits that she needs help, and hopefully if it comes back he will be able to help her.
