LOL :D

Sarah Palin - well from a female POV - I don't know she's just to old.
Better than Hilary Clinton though - sorry kevin lol
And now the red ones make me fly
And the blue ones help me fall
And I think I'll blow my brains against the ceiling
And as the fragments of my skull begin to fall
Fall on your tongue like pixie dust
Just think happy thoughts

Not that anyone asked but here are my thoughts on the attractiveness of some of the politicians discussed so far in this thread (forty-mumble year old straight American male here) :D

Obama: He is in great shape for a guy his age. I can understand that the bathing suit picture might make someone uncomfortable though, maybe we don't like being reminded our president is just a human being?

There are pictures out there from when Hillary was college age or so and she was quite attractive back then. I also thought she looked pretty good back when Bill Clinton first started campaigning for President.

When he was younger Ted Kennedy was considered the best looking of the Kennedy men (who were known for their looks) but has been going downhill at least since the mid 1970s. He might suffer from rosacea, a condition that causes redness and swelling on the face and is common among people of Irish heritage.

I disagree with almost all her political positions but concede that Sarah Palin is pretty easy on the eyes. Can't stand the accent though.

Wait wait - He's a human being? I thought he was a robot. He never looks tired and appears to have an abundance of energy.

Oi! - I'm Irish - and I think I actually have this condition. I do a lot of exercise though, which means that my blood vessels are in tip-top shape. Now and then though, my cheeks become red. I hate it.

I like SArah Palin- I think she's hot. However, she strikes me as very dumb, and not fit enough to be a politician. I can easily see myself and her being a good couple though. She's my type of girl.

What do you all think of this guy ROB BLAGOJEVICH?

I don't understand why he insists going about with a dead marmot on his head.

Chucky if I recall correctly roughly how old you are Sarah Palin is like twice your age! :D

Anyway being intelligent is not exactly a prerequisite to being a politician here in the US (although many certainly are, like Obama).

Yes, Obama is clearly intelligent and 'knows' people. I think that Bill Clinton was somewhat intelligent too. Regarding the other oaf/clown (GW Bush), well, I think you all know the limits of his brain. However, I am of the strong view that Ted Kennedy is even dumber than GW Bush.

I actually live in Massachussetts, the state that Ted Kennedy has represented in the US Senate for decades.

I think it is safe to say most people's feelings here about him are mixed. While there is no question he has at times shown collosally bad judgement in his personal life he is also widely regarded as one of the most effective Senators of all time. I have seen it suggested that he is in fact THE most effective Senator ever, and/or the dominant American political figure of the last 40 years.
