Coming out of a delusion after one whole year

Hi I have just come out of a psychotic disorder that lasted a year and everyone I know including family and doctors think I have been well. I thought everything was a big set up and have massive delusions of grandeur and obsessions with important people, one so bad that I could quite safely say I am now totally in love with him. It is insane I know but hey that' s why I'm on the forum! Anyway, I really don't want to let on to anyone that I have been under this delusion for a whole year yet functioning perfectly OK in the real world. Coming out of a delusion is a really lonely place to be. If anyone can relate or has any advice that would be appreciated.

Out of curiosity, were you on medication in the past, specifically stimulants?

Hi yes, I am on a lot of medication, one of them has a slightly stimulating effect but I think my psychotic break was more to do with psychological stress. I also had a breakdown in the past that was stimulant induced, that was definitely the drugs! I have also been coming off diazepam which has speeded my whole system up so that may have had something to do with this huge period of psychosis I have just come out of. I really still can't believe how I managed to appear sane to my nearest and dearest for that amount of time. Amazing really, the power of the mind.
