Abilify not helping at all

I've been taking abilify for 1 week and it isn't helping me at all... It just made me more depressed and apathic I just wanna die
How long I have to wait to see the effects? It doesn't helpings me AT ALL...

Give it a month , it takes a minute for the drug to become effective.

Also , it is more of an adjunct than the mainline for treatment if that makes sense. Work out some , I promise on my life that it will greatly accelerate the abilify's effect.

Give the medication some time. Medication doesn't always solve every problem right off the bat. If you think you have some delusional thinking, try to train yourself to not think that way, and remind yourself of the things you believed before the delusion developed. The medication should help make this process easier. Through this process discuss with your doctor your symptoms and thoughts, try not to hold back embarrassing things (we all do this). It may be that another medication is more effective for you.

I'm feeling very depressed because of abilify. Why did fluoxetine helped me more than abilify? The first time I took fluoxetine the next day I started feeling the desired effects... Abilify sucks. I'm about to stop taking it

Are you still taking the abilify? I tends to work well in conjunction with an antidepressant. You may want to try at least 20 mg. It will definitely may you sleepy, however, and I believe most anti-psychotics can lower the white count. But it is still better than being a delusional mess. I found I that I tolerate abilify better than other medication. Good luck.
