Nobody understands me

I'm very afraid of my irrational thoughts and sometimes I want to tell them somebody so they can calm me but people say that I'm crazy or that I should stop taking drugs. Nobody understands me I feel very lonely

I'm sorry you feel lonely but... I gotta ask.... Are you taking Rx Drugs or Street drugs? Because if it is street drugs.... then your friends might have a point. It could be the street drugs that are causing the problem.

Oh and btw... when I say 'Street Drugs' ... that also includes pharmaceutical medicine that wan't prescribed for you.

Nope I don't take any drugs. They joke about it.

Then can you elaborate? What types of thoughts are you having that have brought you to this forum?

I strongly believe that people can read my mind. I think that's their way to control my mind because if I behave myself in a bad way they will bring me bad luck and everyone will bully me and the police will arrest me. Or some thief will rob my home and then kill me.
Also I believe that aliens are spying on me and watching everythings I do. It's very scary and it depresses me because I'm afraid of doing things because they could punish me in some way. My favorito hobbie is playing videogames but I'm afraid playing them because of the aliens and because I believe that pnjs inside the game want to hurt me or spy me. It could be someone else inside my game spying me.

Hello Again, Thanks for posting how you feel you are delusional. Sadly I am not able to relate to it as I don't feel that people or aliens are able to read my mind or that anyone/thing is spying on me. My delusions are made up by me and I use them as a world I can escape to when i am anxious. Like having imaginary friends from childhood - except I am an adult.

Have you checked out the forum on schizophrenia? I don't know much about it but I think there might be some overlap in symptoms.

I have to ask: have you considered seeing a psychologist? Ypu must be feeling very anxious due to the constant feeling of being watched. A professional would really help you cope with that fear and would help you realise that there are ways of protecting yourself from the entities you think are spying on you. The psychologist would quickly understand that it's not related to drugs or anything like that.
You just need help discerning which thoughts are real and rational and which ones represent a fake menace.

I hope you are being able to cope by yourself all the while.
