My husband think's people are following him around the count

Postby jesspaitsel » Sat Jul 11, 2015 2:59 am

My husband thinks people are following him around the country he's a truck driver. he's been seeing these things for about 8 months. he thinks they follow him in his truck, cut him off and brake check to remind him not to do drugs or something of that nature it has progressed to the point where he thinks that they cough and sneeze when he is in places like restaurants shopping centers even at his own family reunion. He thinks that I am helping them follow him. we have a five month old son and we were living on the truck with him but I had to take our son off because he has put him in danger twice in traffic thinking that he was going to run these people off the road. He's an ex methamphetamine user he's been clean for 8 months these symptoms started after his last used after a four day binge. He won't get help and after his last episode he will not have anything to do with me or our son until I come clean about helping these people. I don't know what this is. Or how to help him?

Hello,

I can't tell you how to help him but it sounds like you have recognized there is something very wrong with your husband - which is a good thing. It also sound like you have recognized that his actions can put you and your son in danger - this is also good.

So from this point on - all I can suggest is that you talk with a doctor and possibly/probably a woman's shelter or your family. The reason why I have had suggested the last two is because it sounds like you might have to seek a safe place for your son and yourself while this gets sorted out.

Don't rely on the person on the street or in any recovery program to tell you what to do. Talk to the professionals - and ensure you and yours sons safety first.

Please note: This is just my humble opinion. I am not trained and do not hold credentials of any type. Basically - when in doubt - contact the professionals.

Just thought of another thing - Could he have found a new drug to abuse? One that he is hiding from you?
