What do your delusions lead you to do?

Postby XxTheCrowXx » Sat Mar 15, 2014 2:35 am

As in outlandish actions that you perform because of your delusions. For me, I always keep some type of weapon, usually a knife or shiv on me when I go anywhere at night. And there was a period of about 2-3 weeks during the summer that I would circle the perimeter of my house in all black, with knife in hand, and a mask, probably for about 2-3 hours or until I felt it was safe.
I haven't done that in a while but I always keep my guard up at night, and will not go outside unless totally necessary.

Spread vicious and nasty rumours about people I personally dislike, then sit back and laugh while I watch them get into trouble and attack each other.

My delusions generally lead to some misanthropic practice or another.

I can say I'm guilty of this sometimes, but sometimes I do it to random people and dont even notice it.

Sometimes great discoveries. The world is full of schizotypy. Everyone has it. It is a condition of being human. Thank God we have it. We need more of it. Without it we would be living in a world where there would be no “Aha!,” and no “Eureka!,” moments. Imagine human civilization devoid of the epiphany.

Epiphany has brought us the Principia Mathematica and e=MC2. With epiphany we have harnessed the forces of electromagnetism and nuclear reaction. Every great discovery, every major invention, is necessarily proceeded by an epiphany. Penzias and Wilson may have stumbled within earshot of big bang but it was the decade’s earlier epiphanies of Gamov and Dicke that allowed a recognizable sound to be heard.

So what is a delusion? Sometimes it is someone else’s relative lack of imagination. Sure there are easy to see examples of delusional thinking but there is also a huge expanse of gray area that mistakenly gets labeled.

I think people who don't carry weapons are delusional...

Sleep/sit around with the lights on; sometimes I "sense" things in the dark that "go away" when I turn the lights on.

In Junior High, at some point the delusion that I was suddenly popular caused me to decide to bully and eventually beat up a friend of mine.

Last but not least, I once "saw" one of my alters... ONCE. She looks nothing like me. :?
So allein will ich nicht sein
Ich such dich unter jedem Stein
Ich schlaf mit einem Messer ein
Wo bist du? Wo bist du?
