Perfume

Does anyone else think that Britney Spears new song Perfume is funny? Maybe it is all my time reading about delusional jealousy and potential delusional disorder? The thought of someone spraying extra perfume to rub on their man is the silliest song I've heard in a while. It makes me smile and chuckle to myself to imagine. She is so earnest in the video. It is funny to me. I sorta love the song, and like her because she is sharing a HUGE whopper with the character's insecurity in the song. Do you think she actually wrote the song herself?

I read a lot of romance, and the *worst* driving force in a story or narrative is poor communication. This is the first time I can remember a song employing poor communication as a method to drive the song line.
