When I was in college I was not yet diagnosed. My life was a living H$ll...and I made it that way for everyone around me as well and at the time I had no clue what was wrong with me. I just knew I wasn't right. It got to the point that I had no friends and I ended up living by myself and getting a dog! The biggest problem for me was I didn't know what was wrong. The good thing for you is that you know what you are facing. Granted you aren't able to take meds...you can find other things to stabalize your mood. Try exercise such as yoga, walking, pilates or reading. I find things that put my mind at ease. Also I started writing in a journal. Another big problem for me when I was in college was drinking...I know everyone is different but that was something that really triggered my emotions and made things worse. I would just say find things that put you at ease and definitely tell your friends. Having a good support system is very helpful!!!

Goodluck!!!

Hi, typsee and onetxjewel! Welcome to the forum. I have times when I feel depressed too, and working out really helps. Talking with friends who will support you and telling them how you feel is also a great idea.
